With the cost of Water and energy and the global temperature rising it seems logical to imagine that plants will suffer. The photos below show you what can be achinved. Nothing special was done here.Very heavy clay so We added some Multipurpose and some girt worked it in. Southfacing coastal site with prevailing drying west wind.
Then the plants. We chose are Osteospermums, Lampranthus, Messambryanthums, Phygellius, and Lavender, some Geraniums with later colour provided by Asters. total cost about €40 euros.
